Can a leaking bathroom be waterproofed without removing tiles?
Often, yes, when the tiles are sound and water is getting in through the grout and silicone. See how we fix leaking showers.
What is a bond breaker?
A flexible strip or sealant at the wall-to-floor and wall-to-wall junctions. It lets the membrane stretch as the building moves instead of cracking, and AS 3740 requires one.
How long before the tiler can start?
The membrane needs to cure first. We'll give you and your tiler the cure time for the membrane we use, so nothing is tiled over too early.
Do you do full bathroom renovations?
No. We do the waterproofing. Your builder, plumber and tiler do the rest, and we work around their schedule.
How soon can I use a repaired shower?
Showers we repair are usually ready to use in 24 to 48 hours. We'll confirm on the day.
Do you do plumbing?
No. If the leak is from a pipe, tap or valve, we'll tell you so you can call a plumber.
Can you issue a compliance certificate?
Yes. We can issue a compliance certificate for our waterproofing work. Just ask at the inspection.
